The passenger window had to come out.
There has been a leak into the passenger side of the van for some time. The source is not obvious. In the past I have resealed all the trim around the window, removed the whole of the front of the roof trim and resealed it, resealed parts of the window, started to take the window out and given up, and resealed the windscreen, but with one more intrusion, on the way back from the Hymerfest, and resultant wet clothing and blankets which we store there, finally I had to remove the window.
All went well – the window screws were removed easily except for the bottom edge where rust had sealed them in, but a bit of cold chisel soon shifted them and with a small amount of leverage the window popped out. Good clean all round and a bit of repair around the damaged aluminium edge, loads of non drying sealant, pop it back in, jobs a goodun.
