Cheeky little trip to Flamborough

End of September. Not used Heidi all month manly due to worries about my mum, but suddenly saw a gap in the diary and an Indian summer blip in the weather.

Suddenly we found a Tuesday to Friday hole which needed filling with a trip. Sandra had spotted a sight near Flamborough and we went for it. Lovely site with views down the coast to Flamborough Head and a relatively easy walk to the cliffs. Sunny or what and warm. We walked to the cliffs and turned right the first day and ended up wandering round a trailer park and eventually Flamborough itself.

Couple of pints and a nice meal in the pub to give us energy for the mile walk home and we were well pleased. Second day we walked to the cliffs and turned left for a lovely walk to the RSPB place at Bempton for a cup of tea. Fabulous cliff views but puffins had gone 🙁 . Home for tea. Third day was home day but we went to Brid for a look round. Parked on the front, marvelling again at how Heidi fits normal parking bays and Wales on the sunny beach to the harbour for fish & chips lunch. Hung around a bit to miss teatime traffic and drove home stopping at Stamford bridge for a pee and a leg stretch. Lovely.
